Overview
Zion Rock and Mountain Guides, and their sister company, Bike Zion, have designed multi sport and multi-day trips that take in the very best of what Southern Utah has to offer. These prepackaged trips include lodging and meals during your entire adventure. Four and six-day adventures are offered that include mountain biking, climbing, canyoneering, hiking and just having fun. Zion Rock and Mountain Guides - Zion Rock and Mountain Guides has long since been "Southern Utah's most comprehensive guide service." Offering guided adventures in canyoneering, climbing and outfitting for the famous Zion Narrows and its abundant slot canyons, they can get you where you want to go and beyond. Bike Zion - Bike Zion is a full service bike shop that specializes in day and multi-day bike tours. Their guides are local and have logged tons of time on these mountain bike trails. Local flare is what they are all about. Know that when you spend time with Bike Zion, you are hanging out with folks who enjoy living here and have made Zion their home because of their passion to ride. PROGRAMS From beginner to advanced, Zion Rock and Mountain Guides offer a wide range of programs, from climbing and canyoneering courses to technical rigging. Whether you choose a scheduled course or trip, or ask for a custom instructional course or guided tour, your needs will be accommodated. GUIDED TRIPS VS. INSTRUCTION—HOW TO CHOOSE People often ask what the differences are between Guided Trips and Instruction and what would be best for them. Guided trips are for folks who would like to taste a sample of the adventure but do not want to deal with the logistics, planning, and safety issues inherent to the activity. Though you will learn the basics of rappelling or climbing a guided patron should not feel that they now can pursue the chosen activity on their own without further instruction or mentoring from a knowledgeable friend that you trust. Instruction, on the other hand, is for people who have decided that they would like to pursue their new found sport on their own in the future. Instruction is less about the experience of say, climbing, and more about how to enjoy this activity while staying safe. Staying safe has everything to do with planning, logistics, decision making, risk management and experience.
