Overview

The OWLS Adventure Learning Center located at the Boars Head Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia is the leader in resort based adventure activities. Hand-picked, certified instructors will help you get to the next level whether you are a beginner, a seasoned veteran looking to put a few new tools in your toolbox, or any skill level in-between. OWLS offers the highest quality instruction for rock climbing, ice climbing, caving, and mountaineering.

These programs are resort based at the Boars Head, Virginia - Killington, Vermont - and Big Sky, Montana. Classes are also available throughout the Mid Atlantic and Northeast, including Maryland, New Hampshire, and West Virginia.

OWLS focuses on delivering high quality, professional, upscale programs from the Washington DC, Boston, New York, Richmond, and Tidewater areas. Programs are forest service permitted in the Blue Ridge Mountains, White Mountains, and Gallatin National Forest around Yellowstone National Park.

All of our instructors are Nationally Certified and even ACA and AMGA trained.
